Our Story
J Walk Food Tours is a love letter to Saratoga: her food, her laughter, and her community. With a suggestion of a dear friend and the encouragement of just about everybody who has ever cross paths with our owner during Saratoga Restaurant Week, Chowderfest, International Flavorfeast, etc., etc.–J Walk Food Tours was born!
Why “J Walk” you ask? Well, three reasons.
One it is our mission to have you leave our tours feeling like a local. Locals jaywalk. It’s not our rule. It just how it is. If somewhere is worth getting to, and efficiently so, you just cross!
Two, we love a pun. A play on words. You become a “jaywalker” but also a “J Walker”. A member of our tour! And we are “J” not “jay” as a nod to reason number
Three. Our owner’s family. Every member of the nuclear family of four have a “j” in their name (including the dear friend with a suggestion mentioned above). Only seemed right to pay homage to family while naming the food tour.

Meet Chloe. Your local enthusiast. An English Teacher by trade, Food Tour Guide by interest, and Mom of Two for life!
She can be found momming, eating, or talking at just about any hour of the day. She calls Saratoga her home as she has lived and worked there for the last fifteen years of her life. It has been said her energy knows no bounds and her laugh is identifiable within the tri-state area. She has spent her whole life talking about food to everyone she knows and now would love the opportunity to share with you!
